Supplies and parts, without which the pilots cannot do

Pilot supplies

We could divide the aviation supplies into 4 main categories. These are a Pilot supplies, Spare parts, Aviation Chemistry and the Avionics and avionics equipment. Let us tell you a little more about some of the major Pilot supplies and components that are involved in the functionality of the aircraft and its appearance.

Transponders and radio stations-avionic equipment

Basic Avionic instruments include Transponders and Radio Stations that areused for communication with flight control or with other aircrafts in the air space. We can also mention a lot of other Avionics devices, for example, GPS, autopilots, sensors and probes, power tools or a variety of detectors. Of course, cooling systems, lighting and electronics also have an important function.

In connection with avionics, we should also mention the modern flight control system, which will replace a flight engineer and you may know it under the term the Glass Cockpit.

Pilot supplies

The second major category are Pilot supplies, all that makes life easier for the pilot. Examples include intercoms, notebooks, anticollision systems, clothing, communicators, as well as Pilot supplies, which will find their use when parking the aircraft and its positioning in the hangar.

Aircraft spare parts

Aircraft parts are various components from which the aircraft is made and the same applies for Gliding, as well as other types of aircrafts. Here are some examples:

  • Vacuum Systems
  • Air Filters
  • Exhausts
  • Ventilation
  • Tires, tubes, wheels
  • Fire extinguishers

Aircraft chemistry

The last important category is Aviation Chemistry, which is actually a summary of the various preparations, liquids and chemicals involved in the technical condition of the aircraft, but also on its proper condition and appearance. We can name Aviation Chemistry, such as varnishes, paints, oils and anti-corrosive coatings.
